Questions

What is crop factor?

Crop factor compares your sensor to full frame (35mm). A smaller sensor 'crops' the view, so a lens acts like a longer one. Multiply the focal length by the crop factor to get the full-frame-equivalent field of view.

Does crop factor change my aperture?

It doesn't change exposure, but it does change depth of field. For an equivalent look, multiply the aperture by the crop factor too — f/2.8 on Micro 4/3 gives roughly the depth of field of f/5.6 on full frame.
